I felt a bit sad but immediately it was replaced by joy & excitement when it started to move again normally. I tried to observe it again for the second one & it did it again. 

So I, therefore, concluded that it is their natural behaviour in times of danger. Some aquarists recommend having them as pets for aquarium beginners.

Having these little creatures mate is a piece of cake. In neon tetra breeding, you will just have to put male & female in one aquarium for 1-2 days. Then ensure that there is dim light & turn it off when you are about to go to sleep.
